Antonin Tron’s second collection for Balmain took its cue from Jim Morrison, opening to “Riders on the Storm.” The show was staged at the Hôtel de Maisons, Karl Lagerfeld’s former home, and once again the set leaned on curtains: opaque plastic sheeting covered the windows from the outside while water was sprayed against it, so the room felt like it was caught in a downpour. It was a perfect blend of rock and roll edge and Parisian glamour.
