Even at a young age, I was passionate about fashion and naturally sought to grow within an industry that I loved. I began by studying at the American University in Paris where I was fortunate enough to receive my first professional experience, as an intern at Quest magazine . It was there that I gained insight into how a magazine should run along with learning first-hand about all the different facets within the industry.
At Quest, I had the opportunity to work with the magazine’s Market Editor which involved discovering new designers, meeting with interior decorators, and finding interesting venues for various projects. It was a wonderful way for me to get exposure within the fashion and editorial worlds, enabling me with a strong foundation for future positions, like at Elle magazine and helping me to gain foresight into what possible directions I wanted to take my career towards next.
