Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest Dior collection was catapulted to dizzying heights of hyper-femininity while juxtaposing with refined, clean-cut tailoring to create an energy that transcends the boundaries of women’s fashion.
Flowing skirts and ruched necklines skillfully celebrate the female form while sheer chemises and intricate embroideries dance off the backs of the beautiful models as if it were a ballet. Glamour and beauty were certainly dialled up for the occasion, the colour palette for SS22 is a whole different story. Muted monochromes fill the collection, with minimalist hues allow the savoir faire of the garments to speak volumes, proving that bold colour may be out, but painstakingly perfect Couture is certainly in.
